Erasmus and other international activities - MUCO

Erasmus and other international activities

Erasmus+ is the EU educational programme for the period 2014–2020 that supports cooperation and mobility in all spheres of education, training, sport, youth, and non-formal education. MUCO has been involved in the Erasmus programme since 2010. The university was awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the period 2014–2021. Through this charter, the European Commission entitles a higher education institution to participate in the Erasmus+ programme. In order to be awarded the ECHE, the Erasmus Policy Statement (EPS) must be authorised.

Within the Erasmus+: Erasmus programme, MUCO offers the first of the three key actions:

  • KA 103 – Learning Mobility of Individuals within Programme Countries

The supported activities are student mobilities and staff mobilities. MUCO ERASMUS ID is CZ OLOMOUC03.

Erasmus for students

BUDDY — a guide for foreign students

Several foreign students arrive at MUCO every year and we expect an increase in their number in the future. We are therefore looking for volunteers among the MUCO students who would be willing to help these students to adapt to the new environment and be their guides and buddies during their stay in Olomouc.
