Manager of the Department, academic and senior lecturer at the Department of Business Economics
Zuzana Stefanovová majored in the Economics of Industrial Management at the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Ostrava in 1988. In 1989, she completed her postgraduate pedagogical studies at the University of Ostrava. She received another academic title in 2009 majoring in the Management of Industrial Systems at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Material Engineering. Her practical experience in the area of entrepreneurship included PS (civil engineering) in Ostrava – plant No. 05 in Nový Jičín, in Novojická stavební společnost (construction company). Her practical pedagogical experience was gained at the technical and trade schools and SOU in Kopřivnice, at VŠP in Ostrava (business school), at the trade school VOŠ GOODWILL in Frýdek-Místek, at VŠKE in Brno, and at the Technical University of Ostrava at the Business Administration Department of the Faculty of Economics. She worked there as a senior lecturer and as the deputy to the department manager. She specialized in the area of company administration, business economics, the assessment of property value, management simulation games and management of travel and tourism.
In 2014, she finished her studies at the Department of Property Assessment at the Technical University of Ostrava. She has currently worked at Moravian Business College Olomouc where she focuses on aspects of business economics, business finance and entrepreneurship.
She is a member of the Commission for the regional and district rounds of the competition for High School Students (SOČ) and of the School Board at Masarykovo Gymnázium in Příbor.
She is the author or co-author of papers published in conference proceedings and scientific books where she constantly addresses the issues of business economics.
