Expert supervisor, academic staff — associate professor at the Department of Management and Marketing
doc. Ing. Miloslava Chovancová, Csc. is an experienced academic, not only in lecturing, but also in research project development, especially in the areas of branding, consumer behavior, and related marketing management topics. She is a supervisor of Ph.D. study program students, particularly foreign students coming to study the above-mentioned areas that they deal with in small and medium-sized enterprises in their home countries. She gained a one-year scholarship to Georgetown University in Washington,D.C. in the USA. where she studied Business Management and Communication and created curricula for management and marketing courses, an activity for which she had been trained at the University of Wisconsin in River Falls in the USA. She gave lectures at the University of Applied Sciences (NHL) in Leeuwarden (the Netherlands), the University of Applied Sciences (BRS) in Bonn (Germany), the Graduate School of Management in Troyes (France), the Ecole de Commerce Européenne (Groupe INSEEC) in Bordeaux (France), the Ecole Supériere de Commerce (IDRAC) in Lyon (France), and the Dokuz Eylul Universitesi (DEU) in Izmir (Turkey). Miloslava Chovancova has participated in many international conferences, among others in the International Forum of Technology Management in Vienna (Austria) and the African Venture Capital Association Conference in Mombasa (Kenya). She is the author and/or co-author of many research papers and a series of monographs on the topics of consumer behavior and branding.
