Department Manager, expert supervisor, academic staff — associate professor at the Department of Management and Marketing
Adam Pawliczek focuses on the areas of entrepreneurship, logistics, management of small and medium-sized businesses, and the utilization of managerial methods, tools and systems in the areas of strategic management, continuous permanent improvement, and logistics. He finds current topics of sustainable development and the economic self-reliance of families and households very important.
He completed his Master´s and doctoral studies at the Technical University of Ostrava. In addition, he took part in a 15-month research stay at the University of Southern Illinois in Carbondale in the USA and, in 2016, received his associate professorship at Tomas Bata University in Zlín in the field of Management and Business Economics. He has worked at the Technical University of Ostrava and MBCO. He has published in scientific journals with the impact factor, for example in E+M Economics and Management, the Economic journal of the Slovakian Academy of Sciences, Metalurgija, Acta Montanistica Slovaca, International Business Management, further with the IGI Global publishing house, Ekopress and others.
In his personal life, he values truthfulness, the willingness to help others and a positive-constructive approach. His motto describes that it is necessary to seek balance in everything.
